Question on 02 Lariat FX4 Supercrew

Well I found another truck to go look at is a 02 Lariat FX4 Supercrew with 62k.
Were the any issues with the 02 supercrews that I need to check on? Any major recalls?
Also the truck has a cap and full carpet in the bed. I would probably take that off and out. Any idea on how much I could sell it for? Looks like it is very good shape. The truck is a little more then I want to spend but I figured if I sell the cap and buy bed liner it would fit my budget.
Thanks for your help

I had zero problems in 89,000 miles with my 2002 Lariat 4x4 SCREW. The only recall was for the cruise control. They add a fusable link to the brake sensing circuit.

I had a 2002 LARIAT FX4 before I bought my 05. I wish I would have just kept it. That truck had everything. The only problem I ever had with it was that the turn signal switch went bad, which was covered under warranty.

Other than cruise control recall the only thing that has happened to me is a small winshield leak, but only when the truck is sitting at a certain angle and the rain really has to be pounding hard.
All in all this is by far the best truck i've ever owned

02 FX4 lariat, 59,000 miles, same comments as the others, cruise control recall. I also had the under door dust strips replaced by Ford at 30,000. They were beginning to warp downward and show from a distance.

I still love the truck!

My 02 - cruise control recall, new battery, new front bearing, and the bottom part of the headrests keep coming undone (I know, trivial). This has been a great truck, wouldn't trade it for a newer one (yet).

How much are they asking? Selling used toppers isn't easy, and they don't usually bring a lot of money, probably $400-500 depending on brand/model/condition.

I had one also. I had a few problems but nothing major. Rear slider window leak, around the seal on the drivers side. It caused some issues with the sunshade on the sunroof. Rear e-brake sized while I was towing my brothers boat. Multi function arm (turn signal arm) the windshield washer sprayer wouldn't stop spraying when I would use it once in a while. Had a emission part fail, Ford sent me a letter about it being a potential problem and covered it when it did fail out of warranty. Harsh shift in the transmission 2 to 1 down shift around 7 mph. I used a programmer to firm up the shift pressure and it solved this issue for me. Power steering pump would whine sometimes. Fouled #3 plug at 47K No check engine light, it just started running real rough.
I didn't have an issue with mine but I did get a letter from Ford that there was some premature failures with the Tie-Rods on these trucks and they needed to be inspected every 15K.
They are known to spit out spark plugs.
