Fair Price for a 2007 FX4???
I'd never pay more than Invoice price minus all availible rebates. So, take a $28k MSRP truck, knock off $4k for invoice and then rebates and you can quickly get to 8k off MRSP. If you wait a few months, there will be even more discounts, especially if gas prices rise.
I'm getting around 7100 less from the msrp, I thinking of canceling the truck and wait until summer to see if I can get a better deal. If gas price are going up and ford is not doing well I think I can get a better deal plus I might get the new style of towing mirrors.
Maybe they come up with something new at mid year

Thanks guys. I live in Ford Country and there hasn't been a new 2006 F-150 for sale on the lots since Nov/Dec. Of course, I see no logic in buying a "new" truck that already has a year's worth of depreciation on it. If that's how you get $13,000 off of MSRP, that's not much of a deal as the truck already depreciated more than that.

I sold my 2002 F-150 reg cab xlt with 4.6L for $7,500 and it had 98,000 miles on it in Jan 07. Thought that was pretty good value from a 5 year old reg cab pickup. I wouldn't worry so much about depreciation unless you jump into something new ever couple of years, even then I really don't think your loosing out getting last years model as such a substantial savings...
