Exclamation Climate ccontrol dash lights

RE: Ford 2001 Supercrew

Hello all,
The other day I noticed the Climate control section (Fan Dial, Temp Dial, etc) of my dash wasn't lighting? Everything else (dash-wise) IS lighting.

Is there a simple fix (fuse maybe) or common quirk (that you folks would know about?) I didn't see anything specific in the basic manual???

Otherwise, what are the simple steps on:
  • WHAT I NEED TO BUY?
  • HOW DO I PUT IT/THEM IN ?

Thanks so much in advance!

My 01 s/c done the same thing about a month ago. More than likely you are going to need to replace the two bulbs that light the controls. First you will need to remove the trim peice from around the radio and controls no special tools required just grab it and pull out. Second you will need to remove the four small metric bolts that hold the controls in place. After removing the bolts just slide the controls out and you should see two black ***** on the back of the controls they may be a little tricky to get out but they will come out {they twist out}. There you go just take the bulbs to your local parts store and use the number on the bulbs to find your match.
