Hiding Places...

I was wondering if there were any exceptional hiding places in our super crews that I could hide something that nearly no one would find easily. For instance I would like to hide something like a valet key somewhere very hidden if i was ever to become locked out of my car, I could simply use the pad to enter and the key to drive back home.... So if anyone has any good hiding spots please share. Thanks in advance

If you are looking for a way to get into your truck if you get locked out, here is what I did. I bought a keyless entry keypad from eBay and placed it in the bed of my truck up almost under the bed rail. If I ever need to get into my truck with out my keys I just reach in and enter the five number code and my doors are unlocked. You would never know it is there unless you told someone to look there. I hope this helps.

Hmmm... I need to find someplace to hide a key. I don't have power locks. Anyone know of a great place to hide one or something to hide it with?

not sure about your 07 but if it's like my 03 you could hide it behind the rear passenger seat on the drivers side in the storage compartment. you could glue the magnetic key holder on the inside panel and when you open the storage door just slip your hand in and remove your key. no one would ever see it

Just leave the key in the front of the owner's manual in the glove box. After being a member of this board for so long, it has become apparent no one has ever opened the manual. Your key will be completely safe there!

try places like hiding your key in the support braces of your bed? notice its like 1" square stock? magnetic strip and plastic cap, your set.

XLTs have a neat hiding place. you lift the front of the console, it pops up and there is a nice spot for a pretty good sized item. My truck salesman had his concealed pistol there.

The first place that comes to my mind is inside the fuse box cover.

I saw a unique solution.

They make a combo lock the goes into the reciever that has a cavity big enough for just a few keys.

I would want a strong hitch lock so no one would steal my little key safe.

I tried to find the magazine with a link. I sure a google search would find.

Later

Just reach down on the front of the seat where it meets the carpet. yank up. It will pop back into place.

If you have the center console without the floor shifter, if you lift up the carpet in there there is nice size spot towards the front for keys and what not. I keep the charger for my spotlight in there.
