Missing skid plate?

Hello everyone,
Just bought my first Ford product ever. I picked up an 04 F150 SCREW FX4 Dark shadow grey. Love the truck so far. I am a little scared now after reading around about some of the quirks with the 04's. I have been looking for signs of rear end shudders, cab leaks, and vibtrations. So far I havent found any. One thing I did notice when looking under the front of the truck is it looks like there should be a skid plate there. There is a piece of foam/insulation that looks the shape of a skid plate so Im guessing thats what was there. Does anyone have a pic of the front underneath that shows the skidplate on the FX4. Thanks in advance.

Skid plates come on more than just the FX-4, just probably as an option. I have an '04 Lariat that has the skid plate option ($160). So, I'm going to guess it's the same set for the FX4. There is no foam, and there's two skid plates. A large one that protects the front axle, steering rack, most of the oil pan, etc. and a smaller one that's under the transfer case. Again, no foam.
