Question Xplan plus rebates?

I'm going to go look at a few supercrews this afternoon and am wondering if most dealers will honor the rebates on top of xplan pricing? From the local paper is seems everyone is offering $11,000 to $12,000 off MSRP on all 2006 F-150's. This along with my xplan pricing might be too tempting to pass up. Anyone recently purchase and have thoughts? Thanks

They did for me. Do not tell them you have the x-plan until they give you a final price after the rebates. I got almost 13,000 off of the sticker price. How everything works out. I got an 07 cheaper then I could have gotten an 06.

I told them up front I was xplan and I knew all the rebates I was able to get. Got them all.

I didn't think they had rebates on the 07's currently?

I took a look around today and some of the trucks I really wanted were not on the lots (must have sold recently) There is a white FX4 that I think might work, although it has the 20inch wheels which I don't really care for. I don't understand the point of putting that big of a wheel and a lower profile tire on a 4WD truck. I wonder if they would be willing to swap them with the regular FX4 wheels like you have intruder. Your truck is actually the color I had been looking for.

Greetings Everyone

Another FNG here. I just purchased a new '07 F-150 on the X-Plan and received $4250 in rebates, to answer the OP's question. There are $3000 available to any purchaser (2K + 1k) and another $1250 (750 + 500) for X-Plan rebates.

Here's the newest addition to the garage, poor pic in poor weather but it's all I have at the moment. I'll be taking more when the weather is better and I have some time off work. Great forum, Happy New Year to everyone!

Like Starjack said. They are offering rebates to everyone. I actually got almost 13,000 off of sticker. Without the paperwork I will try to detail the offer.

The sticker was 37,000.

Dealer took $2000 off of sticker to buy at their dealership.
$1250 for x-plan
$4250 in rebates and regular interest rate. (Would have been 3,000 if I took the lower interest rate.
$5000 on trade in.

I rounded the numbers so they are not exact.

I also had the 20" rims and asked them to switch them to the 18" rims. I wish I would have added in the line-x in the purchase price.

One of the plans Ford makes available to supplier/partner companies they are associated with and/or do business with. X-Plan offers within 1% of invoice pricing to employee's of companies they have the arrangement with. Similar to GMID (General Motors In the Driveway) program from GM. Chrysler has a similar plan but I can't remember the name. Not as good as employee pricing but still decent overall.

I just found a red FX4 online and am going to call tomorrow to see if its still on the lot. It already has the 18inch wheels and is exactly what I am looking for. If that isn't there then I will contact the dealer about the white one and see if they will swap the 18inch wheels out. Did you get any money off for moving back down to the 18inch wheels or was it just a straight up swap?

Okay,

I just got back with the new truck (pictures coming soon) it looks identical to yours intruder except that mine is silver with the dark stone trim at the bottom. The truck stickered for $38,675 and I ended up getting it for $26,500 before TT&L. Overall I am happy with the purchase. Thanks for answering my questions guys.

I set out looking for a silver one but settled with the color I have. Yours seems to have more options since it is about 1200 dollars more then my sticker price. I just traded straight up on my rims. I can't wait to see pictures. Overall looks like you got the same deal I got. I don't think I can beat it for the truck I got.

Well,

The funny think is I had just gotten my xcal2 on the group buy for my 2002, so that was bad timing for me. I'm sure I will wait a while but I will think hard and long about an AF1 intake and tuner. I mainly want the tuner for the shifting improvements, but I don't know if I want to go through the time and hassle of getting on the dyno to make sure the tunning will be correct etc...
