This look like a good deal?

Hi everyone. New member, first post. Let me know what you supercrew guys think. I want this truck, but I've got to drive 300+ miles just to see it. I want to make sure it's worth my trip. Here's the truck:

Thanks, hope this is the first of many posts.

Maybe it's just me, but that price is a little high for a 2WD, no? There are a few FX4's around here going for that same price.

EDIT: I guess after looking in your area, that is pretty low mileage for that price.

Not sure which engine is in it, or interior package, but here's what Kelly Blue Book says it's worth with the options listed in the ad. I configured it with a 5.4l. They list dealer retail at $19,980.00 in excellent condition. Private Party value in excellent condition is $17,605. Good $16,610 and Fair $15,245. If you're nearby, check it out and take it for a nice long drive! Good Luck with the bartering!

That's definitely true around here - 4x4's are going for ~$17k.

However, looks like it's a Lariat, 42k miles is decent, I would try and get them down about $1500...

Price does seem a little high. Does look like a nice truck though.

Ya, good luck on the bartering.
I paid $26,000 something for mine in 04 and book on it then was $26,000 somthing.

In some places in Georgia, trucks outnumber cars. They retain value because of that demand. Those same places in Georgia are still mad "Dukes of Hazzard" was cancled too! HAHAHAHA

Thanks for all your guy's help. Hopefully when my buddy checks it out tomorrow he will say it's worth the drive to check it out. I was going to try to get them into the 15's. This truck will look sweet parked next to my Mustang. Now, if I could only get my wife to get rid of that damn Jeep.
