Original owner here...

Bought off the lot in June of '01. Gen III interior, entertainment system. Was down visiting the in-laws in San Bernadino, and was scanning the Ford ads, as the butts up here in Elk Grove didn't seem to want to deal with me.

My truck was one of five "At This Price" (if I remember right, $25,999). Went to the lot later that morning, and paid cash. Had all the options I was looking for. Sitting at a tad over 50K as we speak.

Thumbs up

Original owner here too!

Bought my '01 Screw new in June of '00. A month before I got married. Still have both the truck and the wife

Had a seal installed wrong at the factory in my trany, they fixed it and haven't had a problem until the power steering pump went out at 92K. She's got 105K on her now.

Still have my 2001 that I bought in July 2000. Still love the truck, and still get compliments on it quite often. Sitting at 76K miles so far with no issues.

Got my Screw new in July of 2002, now with 73,000 trouble free miles.

Only had to replace a rear axle seal and bearing due to the crappy stock tires that vibrated the right rear area and caused it to leak. Those tires are long gone now....

I purchased mine in May of 2002 and I have had 76,000 trouble free miles on it. Right up until I was hit on December 8th 2006. The truck may still rise from the ashes and bent metal!

I've had my 07 2 weeks with close to 1000 miles on it. I seriously think my wife is jealous because 1) I bought me something new. and 2) I spend so much time on this site researching all of the mods I'm about to put on it. I have a lot of them ordered but they haven't came in yet. Just imagine the s*** fit shes gonna have during shoptime. After all of this I'm sure I will be nowhere close to being done. I LOVE THIS TRUCK

Purchased new for $24,999 at 11:13am on Friday, December 7, 2001
(yes, I still have my bill of sale)

Just passed 90,000 miles this weekend.

I still feel that this was the best vehicle purchase I've ever made.

Bought my '01 screw lariat right when they hit the lot. Ran it for 130k miles and the tranny started slipping. Other than that, no issues at all. Traded it in this summer for an '06 screw Lariat.
