bought a new truck

Just bought a 2001 Supercrew Lariat.
4x4

I was looking for a photo online to a similar model to show a friend, but I cannot find one. I checked our members gallery and found the identical match.

The VIN # is saying the truck is a 2001 supercrew but the truck looks like this https://www.f150online.com/owners/owners19.html ... am I confused or is this the 2001 supercrew.. did ford even make a truck with these options shown in the picture in 2001.

That truck is a 97 or 98 Supercab, not a Supercrew.

Does the truck you purchased look like mine? If so, then it's a supercrew. Mine is a 2003 Supercrew XLT.

i was trying not to post

I was trying not to post to another forum, so if you don't want me to an admin can delete this, but http://fordtruckworld.tenmagazines.c...18945&n=699491 here is a picture of the truck. The guy there has it listed as a 2001 lariat.... but when i pulled up the vin with the insurance company they said it was a crew cab... not really sure now.

The picture of the truck is a Lariat, SuperCab....not Supercrew. Not sure if the insurance company classifies this as a "crew" cab.
Nice truck though.

Ouch, I'd agree. never was a fan of the 2wd longbeds. Just didn't look proportional. However, a decent bed to do work with
