Tire Pressure Light on dash
Tire Pressure Light on dash
So i was on my way back from the mountains with 5 people in the truck. 3 in the front and 3 in the back....girlfriend gets front middle haha.
Well about 20 mins into the trip the indicator for the tire pressure sensor started blinking at me. so i pulled over and my friend checked the manual to see what the symbol meant. We checked the tires visually and when we got back in the light was off.
We drove another 40 mins and the light came on and stayed on, i was in the city so i just ignored it. It stayed on solidly for about 10 minutes then turned off again.
Speeds were 75mph the first time and 55mph the second time. Temps were 4 degrees celcius above and there was no snow on the road.
Any idea what was going on?

Did you check the air pressure or just look at the tires? One tire is probably right at the limit to trip the light while it's cold and when it heats up and pressure builds the light will go off. That or you could have a bad sensor.
