Welcome!! Nice truck. 12 mpg in town ain't too bad, depending on how you drive. They usually get about 14, 15 in town and about 17, 18 on the highway.

Welcome Jug6
Nice truck! I like the color, too. Grille guard would look nice
Also, if you search this section you will find a good thread from
Patman03 for painting the grille insert black. Looks much better
than stock gray. I did mine and have pics in my gallery.
I average between 14-16 mpg city/highway combined.
4.6 w/3.55 l/slip

Welcome!!

Get your wallet out, this website will keep you poor!!! haha

Great truck, I love that color.

Think about maybe tinting the front windows to "match" the rear ones. The dark windows all around would really look good, esp. with that body color. Also, follow the advice of the post above and paint your grille. It's easy to do and really changes the look of the truck.

Browse through the Appearance forums for some good ideas, but like I said, get the wallet out and loose!!

More importantly, enjoy your truck! Enjoy modding it to make it "yours". You're going to find lots of little mods in these forums. Have fun an welcome to the party!!!

blown tire

....my front passenger tire went out today....not while driving down the road.....but while it was just sitting there in my driveway....it went out right along the rim where the tire connects to the rim....do any of ya know what would cause this? (i already got it replaced.....tho it doesnt match the other tires)

If you're talking about the bead area of the tire/rim....could have been something got stuck between the bead and rim (like running over a tree limb, branch) or the tire had a small hole in the sidewall. If the new tire goes flat as well, then the wheel may have a defect.

Search the appearance forum for Patman03Screw....he has some nice pics/tips on removing the insert.
I painted mine and have a couple of pics in my gallery.
