Factory code??? I found where to look on a 04 . Mine doesn't have the box on the left side of rear cab with the code like the 04 . I just bought this truck and I know how to assign a new code but first have to have the factory. Can anyone help???

 

on the drivers side of your dash, look up it and you should see your computer, it will have they keyless entry numberpad labled onto it, I edited my code out those are just example numbers.

 

Thank You Soooo much. I can't believe it was that easially found. I have literally looked all over under the dash and under and over everywhere else. I went out and found the # right where yu showed and have already input my personal code. Again thanks. This is truly a great site. I hope in the future I can help someone.

I found out today if you push the last two buttons at the same time they lock the doors.

Yep 7-8 9-0 lock them, those are the two buttons you do not want to hit when your key is locked in your truck and you forgot the code

 

I know that the 78-90...lock the doors, but what is the number you push after entering the code to unlock all the doors??

 

The 3-4 button unlocks the remaining three doors.

 

 

I also just bougt an 01 super crew. The dealer said that it would cost me $88to have it programmed. After reading this post I saw this thread, BAM there it was. Thanks a lot, is there a thread that gives all the different options that you can do with the key pad?

 

My pad went DOA on me the other day, but I hadn't realize where the code was stuck. cool.

 

3/4 button pushed once after you enter your 5 digit security code opens the driver door. Push 3/4 button a 2nd time and it opens all the other doors, And on some models if you hold the 3/4 button it will open (roll down) the two front power windows.

Thanks for the Code, if I am in PA, I'll look your truck up for a nice place to stay dry if it is raining. You might want to blur those numbers, now that the whole world knows the factory code for your truck, where you are located, and what it looks like.

 

I always censor my plates though kinda funny, but i dont have anything to hide, literally my trucks cleaned out all the time i dont keep stuff in it, just the manual. I just hope i dont get in & start driving and someone wakes up from the rear seat saying "where am i"

also, next summer it wont be my truck anyways so, sucks for the next owner lmao
