Can somebody give me the exact measurements of their 2003 Supercrew OEM bed extender?

I need length, width, and height. also estimated weight if possible.

I'm trying to get one shipped overseas and having nothing but problems.

well for starters i know the bed opening width is just barely bigger then 4' Do you want the measurements of the outside of the chrome? or of the widest etc demensions?

And secondly if you are trying to ship it, take the damn thing apart, there are small hex screws on the black rail supports (where the bump stops are) and loosen the hex screws and all of the pipeing just falls apart from what ive heard.

If you still need precise measurements i can get them for you tomorrow.

Edit also, any 01-03 screw should have same measurements

A word of advice... disassemble the extender to ship it. It's cake to put back together...

I don't have it in front of me, so you are saying the metal pipes are not one long piece? And it can be taken apart into about 3 sections? If that's the case, it looks like problem solved once again. Thanks for the help.

I just need to know if the metal pieces are in sections, so I can beat the shipping size rules to get it overseas. And I'll have to explain to my mother what a hex wrench is!!!

If it can't be taken apart, I could still use the measurements......length, width, and height.

I dont think that the metal rails them selves come apart, but they can defenitly nest together and you can have a larger, very flat box...



And incase you are wondering, the bed opening is 20"h by 49"w
And if you cant read that picture im showing, its 17.25"h x 48"w x 27"d

Also, just to confirm, this is for a 2003 or older correct? The dimensions on the 04+ changed slightly.

As for the shipping restrictions -- this is EXACTLY why we disassembled the one I bought out of Texas for my 01'. It was shipped FedEx Ground -- not sure about your options on overseas delivery. It's not going to be cheap -- I can assure you that.

 

Yes RP my truck i measure is an 03. And as pictured is my 03 screw 5.5 bed

Could any one help me out with what I need to install a oem bed extender on my 2003 ford supercrew? What is the ford part number? How hard is it / is there any drilling? Thanks for any info. I bought a extender on ebay and now I don't exactly know where to go from here?
