Finding wires to radio

I am trying to hook up my cb radio and i was wondering if any of yall knew how i could find the power wire to the radio. I want to splice that and attach my CB there. That way it will only be on when truck is on. I have looked up under where the pedals are and can't tell anything apart. Also, where would be a good place to dround the other wire? Thanks for yall's help.

The best place to find the radio wiring harness is right behind the radio. Pin 1 (Yellow) is Constant 12V. Pin 2 (Red) Accessory 12V. Pin 13 (Black) is Ground. It's a 20 AMP line which should be more than enough to run the radio and CB.

If you don't understand Worland's post, you should take your truck to a shop to have your CB isntalled.

You want the red Pin 2 from the harness that plugs into the back of the OEM radio to your CB power and the black wire pin 13 for ground.

That makes more sense.

Push the center two vents facing towards the middle of the truck as much as possible. Reach in a pull the whole center bezel out. it just snaps in place. if you have electronic 4wd, be carefull of the wires to the switch. It can hang down while you pull the radio out. The easiest way to remove the radio is to buy the Ford removal tools (Walmart $3). Stick them in the 4 holes in the HU and it will unlock and slide torwars the rear of the truck and out. Very easy, 30 second job to steal the radio. I'm sure there are other threads with pictures as well.
