Those dealer drop boxes are crap. One time I dropped my truck off there and then my friend and I decided to fix it ourselves since I needed it back ASAP. I just stuck my hand in there and fished out my keys. After I was able to do that I will never drop off my truck at the dealership unless someone is there again. Sucks that you had to learn the hard way.

Bottom line, the dealer has provided a overnight lockbox for cars to be dropped off. If that lockbox is utilized (which is owned by the dealership),then it is the dealerships responsibility. Check the Law!

Ok, I'm really wondering how this saga turns out. Any pictures of the truck? Is it all in one piece?--DIY

Well i got a look at her today, and EVERYTHING! is gone from my oem floormats to my custom center console the only think in the inside of my truck was the seats they took every scrap of paper everything.. on the outside its apparent they were off road with all the grass and branchs stuck in the undercarage there are scratchs and dents all over, and the whole truck will have to be painted, and to top it all off the drivers dorr has been over extended forward and had to be tied closed for towing. ill post pics as soon

That really sucks man. It would have been alomst better not to have gotten it back at all, at least that way insurance would have bought you a new truck. Now I'm just guessing but you're probably stuck with getting this one fixed right? Man, I'd be hacked off. And between the dealership and the insurance company I'd try my darnedest to get a new truck. Hope things turn out for you.--DIY.

man, that sucks serious a$$. I think i would rather not have my truck turn up. I think I would be more sick seeing it all torn up then knowing it's gone for good. Sorry to hear about your trouble. You could look at it this way. You have to get something out of it, and you can start on a new toy, with new perks.

on another note, i didnt know BC had troubles like we have in the states. i was thinking you were out in cali the whole time until i read the last post.
