suspension products for towing?
suspension products for towing?
Not trying to get people to promote their suspension/sway products but I need some direction.
Every now and then i pull a trailer and it causes my back end to sag and sway a little bit. Any reccomendations on products that have been helpful on your supercrews like helper springs, air bags or something?

How much tungue weight are you putting on?
How heavy is the tow?
There's some considerations in all this.
You definately need a weight distribution hitch setup first. Using one will not affect the ride when not towing like helpers would.
Max the tire pressure for less sway etc.
See, i'm not trying to sell a specific make/part but to get you to do the right setup first..

I have had these springs that set on the back leafs on my other trucks and they have seemed to work well I just can't remember the name for them (trailmasters, trailblazers or something like that) but that was back in the day when air bags were expensive, so I figured there are much better products out there now.
Question now is what position is the Bronco on the trailer? To far forward?
Should only have 10% of the total trailer weight on the hitch ball.
If there is to much then getting around it with any kind of springs just to raise the truck is not quite right to do.
I'm not trying to give you a hard time but there are rough rules on all this.

When i drive it up on the trailer, i let the ball drop about 2", which to me would seem like 10%. If I don't put it up to that point, then if fishtails too much.
