power mirror trouble

After washing my truck yesterday, when I went for a drive , noticed I could only move the outside mirrors to the outside and down. Awile back thought there might be a problem there, but it quickly fixed itself...... Any ideas on a fix would be greatly appreciated......

I had a problem like this on my mountaineer and it actually end up being the control switch inside bad. Check on that and play around with that.

The inside switch was my first suspect also. Thanks.

If both mirrors have the same problem in movement, it is more than likely the switch. They go bad quite often.

P.S. FYI, Mirror problems don't "Fix themselves". They're just waiting to act up again.
