Help...I've Got Problems :)

The radio cable has come loose from my '01 SuperCrew antenna and I am unable to receive AM stations (the cable is still attached at the radio end, but not the antenna end). The cable has fallen down by the front wheel and I haven't been able to fish it out. Has anyone had this problem or have any ideas? I wonder if I should be trying to retrieve it from the top, remove the fender or some other method. I am also not sure how to remove the antenna base. I think I might need to remove the fender to get to it. (I sure hope not, because that is too much work for someone like myself)

I originally posted this to the Radio section of the board but I believe it is more relevant to the SuperCrew and the exterior of the F150

Thanks in advance

I had that happen the first week I bought my screw. I just loosened up the inner plastic fender well and pulled the antenna off and used a coat hanger to grab it. It took a little bit but it worked out in the end. I just loosened up the inner fender well to reach in and grab the cable then I used the hanger from the top down to hook it and pull it up.

The two times ive thread amp power wire through that area, i was able to open the door, just before it hits the last "notch" where it likes to stay, i can just barely squeeze my hand and wrist into there. Depends on how far down it is, but its hard b.c you have to grab the wire with your finger tips like scissor action.
