Locking hood latch?

Does anyone know of a locking hood latch for an '03 F-150? Some hoodlums cut a hole in my grill and somehow unlatched my hood from the outside and stole my battery last night, and I'm trying to think of a way short of a car alarm (which I can't afford) to keep it from happening again. A locking hood release seemed logical, but if anyone has any other ideas, I'm game.

Thanks!

damn sorry to hear about that. I have no idea if theres any possible way, maybe get a steel billet grill thats a hard grill to break threw. My truck nobody could get under the hood, my old bug shield got stuck and i couldn't get my hood open for about a month until yesturday I giggled it and it poped.

Actually while tooling around on eBay a couple days ago, I saw just what you need... I think the listing said something like "Carbon Fiber hood locks"... it was listed for 04-06 Ford F-150's. They kinda looked like the locks on an older 71' Nova... Kinda sweet. One goes on each side of your hood, and they lock into some sort of bolt structure that I assume ties into your frame, and the top of the bolt is keyed to match the hood lock, then a small (soda machine) looking key is used to unlock them.

That's my two-sense, hope it helps.
