Cancelled the 07 Sport Trac for an 06 F-150

I was going to the local dealer to change the color on the ST that I had order. When I pulled into the dealer, I saw a beatiful 06 Screw lifted on 35's.
I then proceeded to the salesman and cancelled my ST and bought that F-150 right then and there . I love it

Rides perfect. Just as smooth at 60 MPH as it is at 30 MPH.

Looks awesome. '07 Sport Tracs are a real screw over in my opinion, a 16mpg 4.0L V6 200 horses and a 14mpg 4.6L V8 250 some horse engine choices, while the the 5.4L Triton V8 with over 300 horses and 14 - 15mpg is a much better deal. I use to have a silver '02 Sport I still miss it but I can definatly say my truck offers way more.

The more I drive my truck, the more I love it. I have had it about 2 weeks now and I am so glad I didn't get a ST.

I think you made the right choice. You bought a very nice truck.

The Sport Trac is really a Ranger sized "Chick" truck, and even my wife wishes she would have bought an F-150 Super Crew instead of her '05 Sport Trac. She could have had a F-150 Super Crew Lariat for the same price I paid for her Sport Trac XLT Premium. Gas mileage is more like 18MPG in the Sport Trac with the OEM tonneau, but I get 16 average in my 5.4L SC FX4.

Yeah I had an 03 Sport Trac that I traded in on my 06 SCREW. Loved all the bells and whistles that the Trac offered, but I just couldn't do much with the tiny bed on that thing. I do like the looks of the 07 Sport Trac though, they had one at the conference I attended this week and I must say that it looked very sharp. However, next to my freshly waxed F-150 it couldn't hold a candle.

I think you made a good choice.

You couldn't pay me to drive a Sport Trac nor any Exploder again for that matter. Good choice.

250 hp V8

My wife's Saab makes 260 hp with 4 cylinders and a turbocharger and gets 28 mpg. Ford needs to catch up with it's engineering.
