Good Deal?
Good Deal?
My friend is selling his 01 Supercrew white 5.4 new tires, rims, FX4, side steps, head unit, door speakers, lariat, leather, door speakers, grille guard and 90,000 miles for like 13,000. Is that a good deal? I kind of want to buy it but how many miles should a ford last? mine is an 01 with 45,000 miles but i like his truck a lot more. Should i sell mine and get his?

With only 45,000 miles on yours I'd say you should at least get $13,000 to $15,000 out of yours and break even if not make money to get the other one. As long as you don't feel bad about doubling your milage I'd do it, if your always going to wonder if you made the right choice or not I'd stay away from it. Just an opinion though. Good luck.
Not really. It doesn't make much sense to swap vehicle on higher odometer miles on the same year vehicle. Sure I can understand loaded Supercrew is desirable especially for family vehicle, but 45K more miles which is adds approximate three years in engine/tranny life. You'll be spending more money on repairs/maintenance costs sooner than your Supercab. It would make more sense to spend your money for younger Supercrew such as 03-04 depending which model you prefer the older F150 or newer F150 design. Again it's your call.
just give your friend 1ooo dollars and swap out your friends truck's interior and replace it with whats in his truck... He may actually make more money on his truck that way....
I personally wouldnt sell my 30k screw for a loaded one at 65k, but thats me.
