removing front tow hooks?

On my 02 Screw.... The 2 front tow hooks... They look to be bolted on with 2 bolts.... I was wondering before I remove mine.....

Are the holes the bolts go through threaded or is there a nut on the end the bolt attaches to?
I just wanted to know because if I take the hooks off, if I want to reinstall them do they just screw in or do I have to get that nut in there for the bolt to go through?

thanks

tim

I just installed these on my truck. The bolts aren't just threaded into the frame. There is a single piece nut assembly on the inside of the frame rail that both of the bolts thread into. Just loosen the bolts, and when you take them out, make sure the nut doesn't slide further into the frame. (I have an 05 Screw 2wd....it should be the same basic idea though)
