Welcome to the boards.
I just recently purchased my 01 Screw and have really enjoyed it to death. It has high mileage but alot of upgrades to go with it. I only paid about $10k for it and it has more than what you lised that 2000 for. I also got $3000 for my ****ty 95 S10 blazer I turned in so dropped my total price down to $7k. I would really look into that 2002 and price compare it all over yahoo autos and every other site I could find. Sounds like a good deal as long as you are happy with it though. Go in to the dealership informed and print out the kelly blue book info on it used and everything else. If it is a dealership he got the truck used and you can most likely get him to add items or drop his price substantialy. They buy these trucks at auctions for a fraction of the price they sell them for. Good luck and hope to see you and your truck on here soon.

I would go for the 2002, mostly for the warranty. A major repair on the 2000 may negate any savings. To me the piece of mind is worth it, especially in a used vehicle. In my area the salt and gravel on roads beats up the body, 2 years younger is better (kinda like women)
