Damn..I drive mine too much. 05 FX4 with 38,500...enjoy every mile except for the gas stops. 12 mpg is killin' especially driving about 95 miles a day. But hey... thats why I bought it so I could drive it!

113,000 miles. Shift fork broke in transfer case at about 100,000 miles. Driver window motor quit (still putting that off), and my temperature, compass upper console is having some issues. I have to touch a screwdriver to one of the chips on the circuit board to get it to work, and sometimes it will last for a week or maybe the day. I've been very happy with the truck.

Just flipped 26,700 on mine today. I'm averaging about 1500-1600 miles a month on mine. Hoping to slow that pace down while I spend my next 3 years in Hawaii.

Update: 16 Aug 07 - Just flipped to 28k miles about an hour ago.

115,000 miles

I've been very proactive on maintenance and except for rust on the bottom of all the door sills she is doing well. Minor gripes are the torsion bars creak like the bed springs at a whorehouse when it is cold. Occasionally the front end gives me a loud metallic snapping or breaking free noise when taking a sharp descending turn with the wheel hard over. Not sure what that one is, maybe a ball joint? 4 Wheel drive not engaged when it happens. Weird. Gas mileage, obviously.

01 w/ 5.4l has about 84k currently, so far i have yet to hear a peep. i'd have to say that i was kinda nervous about picking up a domestic. i've always had imports and never given me a problem. my family had a 66 mustang and we had that since the early 80s. that's when we got into imports. then i picked up a ranger for a couple of years and it's never given me any problems. so when it came to change i've decided on a fulll size ford. it's been good and i really like the truck.

Bought my 04 Screw in July last yr with 61k, rolled 82k this weekend... Hard to believe so many miles on a 3-4yr old truck but guess as long as you take care of it, not a big deal. Service is done every 3k to the T.

Got my 2002 Supercrew FX4 in 2005 with 15,000 miles on it. Today it's got just under 35,000 miles. Haven't had one single problem with it. I'm pretty heavy on maintenance, however.

Well, add 317$ part costs plus 77$ for install on a new alternator which replaced the original that went out on Friday. Son of a ...........!
