How to do an good 0-60 run

I installed my EDGE today but cant get a good 0-60 run on dry ground. Keeps spining the tires at take off. Should I do Wot 0-60 runs or is that wrong? I have a SUPERCREW with 3.73 but it says non limited slip on the invoice.

might ask the lighting guys for their technique. never tried it on this truck but in general hold the brake down, gas it to 2K and release the brake. you'll have to expiriment at what RPM to launch to get the right amount of wheel spin and hookup. not sure if dropping the tranny into first would help or not, gotta remember to shift before you red-line it.

You want tire spinning out of the hole to be minimized. Cut back on power-braking, going WOT during launching, etc. Practice how much throttle to give it initially without breaking the tires loose and how fast you can push the throttle down afterwards. Something like a half throttle launch and quickly rolling it to the floor.

May want to try and drop the pressure a bit in the rear tires. Helps for hook up at the track...

But makes it worse with street tires, on the street.

Go ahead and try it anyway.
Drop the rear pressure about 5 lbs. If newer launch tecniques do not cure it. Drop another 5 lbs. 10 lbs below max rate should be enough to help. If 44 psi max, maybe down to 30 psi for max straight ahead hook up. This would only be for a 0-60 run, straight, on smooth roads. It's too easy & cheap not to try just for a 0-60 best and back to normal for everyday.
You want a little slip, but I am sure too much is too easy w/ the 3.73's.
Ya'll may know all of this, but maybe someone can use it.
later
