screw tailgate

Can anyone tell me what the width of the tailgate on the 01-03 screw's is?

My '02 SCrew is 51 3/4 inches from the edge of sheetmetal. The opening will not be as wide. Not sure which measurement you wanted.
I measured the tailgate both at the top and the bottom, still 51 3/4 inches.
