Just bought an '01 Screw 4x4 XLT. The previous owner had installed an overhead DVD in place of the dome light. When they traded it in, they took out the DVD, and obviously didn't put the light back in. The wiring is there, and I've seen a few dome lights on eBay, but I don't even know what the light is supposed to look like. So I wanna make sure I get the right one. Can somebody PLEASE post up a pic? I'm kinda **** about things being right ion my vehicles, and this is buggin' the **** outta me.

Also, where can I get the pieces to mount my garage door opener in the overhead console...just the plastic clips and pegs..other than the stealership?

 

Find yourself a "you pick it" yard and you should have no problem finding what you seek. Those aren't going to be very high demand items.

 

If you don't have a junk yard nearby, maybe your local dealer has a similar used truck on the lot for you to look at.

 

for the garage door opener. when you say pegs are you looking for the LEGO pieces that attach inside to depress the overhead door opener when you push on the lid? i would use Lego pieces, i believe they are the same.
