LED tail lights

Anyone have these LED tail lights? I have them and they are a great look but am having a problem with them. When depressing the brake they go from bright to off then back to dim when the park/headlights are on. also the same with the blinker. They do not blink fast or anything because it comes with an LED relay attached. I had the smoked pair first and they worked for about a week or so then I got this problem, so I sent them back and bought the red lense pair and still have the problem. My stock tail lights worked fine before and after so I do not get it unless the blinker relay is bad some how but like I said the stock ones work fine. If anyone else had this problem please let me know how you fixed it, or if you know where the relay is and if there is a different one I should use. Here is a pic and link to the lights

I have been watching your post hoping someone would chime in. I was about to order the same things with the red lense but am having second thought now. Please let us know what happens with this and if the new set works.

Thanks!!

Don't know if this will help or not. I put LED tail lights into another vehicle I had and had problems of them not working with the signals or the brakes. I had to replace the signal flasher. I had an electrostatic signal flasher which operates on the amount of draw through it. The LED's don't have enough draw to trigger the electrostatic flasher so I had to replace it with an electronic one. Don't know what kind of flasher you have but you could try replacing it....they were very cheap in the other vehicle I have ($10).

I can't seem to find one, and the ones I do find I am not sure if it is the right one, if you know where I can get them I would appreciate it. I am going to try one of those blinker fix modules that wire in to the harness and see how that works. I thought it may be the draw but it comes with the mudule already built in and plugged in the harness. I should have the fix tomorrow and will post, otherwise these things look great.

Hey Screw-Jake...

Did you work out the problem with your tail lights? The ones you have look pretty good and I've been thinking about getting a pair for my truck...

Where did you get them?

Thanks

Does anyone know where the turn/hazard flasher relay is? The owners manual only shows the 20A fuse and I can not find this relay. I need to purchase the LED flasher but it is a 5 pin and I am not sure if the Ford is a 4 or 5 pin relay, plus I need to know where to put it.
Thanks

You can buy load resistors from superbrightleds.com, you will have to buy one per side. Hope this helps.

Any more progress wth this?? I thought the whole point of these is that the resistor or whatever is needed is already a part of the light and no other mods would be needed. Have you contacted the manufacturer or the rep you bought them from to find out what could be the problem. I am really interested in purchasing a set and from the sites it looks like it is suppposed to be plug and play!!
