I got a 02 supercrew fx4.. For some reason it squeaks alot went I'm off road, or just going over speed bumps. Deffinantly suspension related. What can I do to stop this? Truck only has 25,000 miles on it..Factory warranty is expired though.. Help !!!!!!

 

Mudd, I have the same thing in my 03 2wd Supercrew. My mechanic, who has been too busy to help me out said that Ford did not put grease fittings on the trucks. Apparently there is a small needle like tip he can grease it with, mine needs it bad.

 

I had the same problem on my 2001 supercrew, you could shake the truck and it would squeek like crazy, the noise was coming from the lower ball joints, I checked them and they were not loose but they were full of rust inside, no grease. I removed the nut and seperated the ball joint from the spindle and removed the boot, cleaned all the old grease and rust out of the ball joint with brake parts cleaner and repacked the balljoint with new grease and reinstalled, it has been perfict for 3 years now. It must have not been properly lubed when new. The truck was just safty inspected and still has no play in the balljoints.
