i have 05 screw with 800 miles in been in the shop more then i had it in my drive way,the shop tells me they are replacing the rear end,they cant find anything with the engine the engine has a rough idle ,sluggish,and back gas milage,the front end ailment been worked on twice ,i think i got a bad truck its been in the shop this time for a week now,this sucks ,i have the 5.4 and 3.55 rears 4x2 ,has anyone else had any promblems with there new truck?

 

Check your build date. Many 05 trucks built before May 05 had the sluggish problem (my truck included). It's an easy fix via a dealer computer flash.
As for the rear end situation, others can comment.

your saying your dealer will not reflash your PCM if there is not a code? BS. they can reflash it anytime, you might have to pay a small fee but since your truck is under warranty it shouldn't cost you a dime. take it too another dealer for the reflash your dealer is full of it. good luck
