How much extra power with these mods?...
New to the forum-2004 F-150 SuperCrew 2WD 4.6 engine with 3,480 miles.
I just added a Magnaflow cat back SI/SO, and have an AF-1 intake sitting in a box waiting for me to install. I am ordering a Troyer Xcal-2 (filling out the information sheets now).
I am thinking of the 87 tow, 87 Perf, 91 Perf.
What can I expect from these mods (realistically) in the way of performance, horsepower, torque.
Will these mods wake up the 4.6 engine? I see a lot of threads talking about the 5.4 but what about the big boy's baby brother?
I appreciate all comments especially from people who have used these mods.
Thanks.
This is a great forum!

Those three performance mod your getting will make a huge difference. The Troyer tuned XCal2 is the number one bang for the buck mod you can get and the AF1 and Magnaflow Cat-back are # two and three. Proportionally, the 4.6 gains are the same as the 5.4 so you’ll be very happy with the improvement. Check out the “Chips & Programming” forum because there’s lots of good info there.
