I have a friend with a Crew 5.4 and I drove it , and it sucked compared to my lightning with the FTVB. I was wondering if the crew had the sam trans. as the L and if not does FTVB have one for the crew?

Even with the same tranny, a Lightning tranny would be running a different shift program than a Crew.

 

Well the threadwas posted at 10am and it is now 5pm I figured it would have been answered, Just realized that 3 people only view this forum compared to the 73-90 over in the L forum.'

To the question, his trans shifted like my L did without a valve body. To me it would have better 1-2nd acceleration with a better shifting trans. The trans shifts very slugish, and has that hesitation in between shifts like my L did.
