I have a F150S/C FX4. I'm trying to locate a replacement spring cover for the 7 pin receptacle on the hitch. Went to the local podunk dealership today. They told me the only way I could order one was to order the whole hitch. I find that hard to believe. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

 

Why wouldn’t that part (spring cover) be covered under warranty? Your trucks brand new

 

Because some jack#$% ran into the back of me. Thats why.

 

Sounds like their insurance company should be locating the part for you.

 

It's true. They only sell the whole assembly. I had an accident and had to have only the bracket replaced, but the body shop had to order the whole thing because they don't sell any parts of it seperately.
