best shell for screw???

In my area, looks like my main options will be the ARE, Jason, and Leer. Any suggestions on the best look, fit, quality, etc.. ?? I have a 2002 model. Also, any of you have experience traveling with crated dogs in the back with a shell?
I assume I will have enough room. Thanks for your help!

Here is a link to my post. We still have the truck and topper. This has been an awsome topper, well worth the money. Snugtop XTR, approx $1400, all bells and whistles included.

I have an ARE LSII cover on my Screw. It was about $850, but I think it was well worth the money. I'm extremely happy with it. Check out my gallery for some pictures of it.

Ooops, I just realized you were talking about canopy's, not tonneau covers. Sorry.

Ok...priced shellls (caps) today...here's what I found :

A.R.E. Z series ....$1295
A.R.E. MX series... $1099
A.R.E> Mpulse series... $988

Covermaster (CMI) 1000 series ...$1010

Jason Cyber series....$1341
Jason Infinity series...$1029

Ok..ARE seems to be popular on here...any comments on the other makes? I'm juggling the ARE Z series, CMI 1000, and Jason Cyber...these 3 seem to look the best on the supercrews. thanks....and maybe these prices will help someone else a little.

I've had high end models of Leer, Gazelle and ARE and I think the quality of the ARE is by far the best. The hinges and locking mechanism are far better imho.

I have a Leer 100R. I prefer it to the 100XQ. It has 1/2 sliding windows instead of pop-outs, which gives the dog more ventilation. Take a look at my gallery on this site. I have built a "bunk" for the dog and will post pics of it also.

Check out the Raider Vagabond. I really like mine on my 2002. Excellent quality and zero problems.

Don't buy the Astro. I ordered mine LEX two months ago. I got good price, around $1100 for it. Then I went to the dealer to have it installed after the order arrived. I got the "pull" type handle on glass door instead of the "push" type handle. IT was difficult opening the rear door. I was able to open it with both hands after some practice. However, my wife and kids can't open it and dislike it so much. It became safety issue, so the dealer is ordering different door with push or twist handle type. It's been six weeks now and the factory hasn't shipped the door yet. The dealer is frustrated with the Astro manufacturer. So stay away from the Astro. What irrates me is that the manufacturer put in the pull type handle without any warning or alert that the push type handle is no longer part of the package.

By the way, I wished I ordered the Snugtop XV model. They're sweet and has large side slider windows with sliding screen as well. However, they're pricey.
