Okay, I just purchased a salvage 2001 ford f-150 supercrew 4x4 XLT truck. How can I tell if my body style is Flareside or Styleside. Can anyone give a link to a picture of a truck which shows the two types?

 

The SuperCab and Regular cab had the Flareside or Styleside.
The SuperCrew only had one bed type.

The SuperCrew bed looked more like the Flareside but I think it was called Styleside.

It really didn't need a name because it was the only one which is what you got.

 

Yeah, the Supercrew bed is sort of a cross between the two.

 

can anyone point me to a picture on the web of the Styleside. I'm going to be buying some used doors and a skin for my truck bed outside so I want to make sure I got it right.

Remember that SuperCrew doors are different from SuperCab and Regular cab also.

The SuperCrew is basically a different truck on the outside and these parts you are talking about are only interchangable with another Supercrew.

 

would a 2002 supercrew xlt be part interchangeable with a 2001?
