Just bought my first Super Crew

Hey guys,
I just bought my first Ford truck ever, a 2003 Super Crew 4X4 FX4, 5.4 liter motor w/46,000 miles on it , i've been a Chevy man for years, so I don't really know alot about the newer Fords, but I like it so far. I got tired of hearing my Silverado knock and rattle every morning, and the Ford was more affordable than any comparable Chevy that i could find, so I switched brands. Is there anything that I should know about them, I have learned quite a bit just by browsing this site,

Thanks

I recently bought the same. 'Cepts with 22K miles. Sure is a sweet ride. So far, I really like it.

Congrats on yours. Hope you enjoy it.

There are no common problems with Supercrews. No worries, other than how the prior owner treated it.

there seems to be some common problems with these trucks thou (unless i'm alone with these issues but i don't think so) but all you have to do is read the above forums.

I don'tthink it is an FX4, but a 4x4 Sport. Those look like the 10-spoke sheels, not the 5-spoke FX4 wheels. Regardless, FX4 package contains nothing special, and that's a nice truck!

Interesting. I'm looking at basically the same truck with the same miles.

How much did you pay?

the 10 spoke wheels were optional on all the F150 trucks. i have the same ones and i personally like the looks of them better then the 5 spoke chrome or aluminum.
