I know this may be a stupid question but the saleperson could not answer it.
I am looking into purchasing a 2000 Ford F150 XL, 4X4, 5.4L, supercrew. I am not that familiar with these trucks and I was wondering how I could tell if it has the 7700 package or not. Does anyone know a simple surefire way of telling if it is?

Well, first of all, there is no such thing as a 2000 Supercrew. The first year of the Supercrew was 2001. Also, the 7700 package has never been offered on a Supercrew. The easiest way to tell if a truck has the 7700 package is to look at the wheels. The 7700 equipped trucks have a 7 lug bolt pattern.

 

My 2000 had the 7700 under the f150 badge on the tailgate.
