speed governer..

Whats up guys/gals i just wanted to know what the stock speed governer set to i was on the freeway and stoped at about 100mph also is there a way to disable it?

I dont think you can disable it... but you can replace it. When you get the Superchip from Mike Troyer, the governor is removed.

It can vary slightly either way from 100mph. If you remove it, use tires that are speed rated for the intended usage.

I dont know but I got a 2005 F 150 XLT 4.6 SuperCrew and it stops me at 95 mph. That Limiter is killing me whats the best chip for this stock truck.

100mph is nothing im used to 140-150mph midnight im not doing this during rush our..... anyhow i know its not the safest thing but think about it how many Drunk drivers are there out right now.... driving at all doesnt sound safe does it....

Hypertech

I have a hypertech programmer, it has 4 or 5 different selection based on speed rating of tires that are on your truck. Top speed you can select is 128 mph... It really won't matter which tire blows out if your going that fast....
