side view mirrors

I did a quick check of the forum, but couldn't find anything.
I was wondering if anyone has found a good power, extendable mirror that fits on the 2001 Supercrew? I want to tow my camper and need extension mirrows, but I don't want the clip on kind.
all the ones that I have found for the f150 exclude the supercrew, or don't work on 2001, just 2002 and up.
anyone? please help.

Any special fitting permant mounts are very expensive.
Look at the **** #11600.
They are black, form fitting, easy on/off over you stock mirrors, solid and will work for 8-1/2 foot wide hard trailers.
Fits any 97 up with the same mirrors.
Cost less than $80.

I find this very hard to believe. There is no difference in the supercrew mirrors and the regular cab or supercab mirrors. I'd like to see a link to an example.

RJS, I thought this sounded a bit off as well, so I called a friend of mine at the dealer. He said although both use "type 16" mirrors, the regular cab has one part number, the Screws have another. For the record, I did confirm that both mirrors he checked were power, non-heat, non-turn signal models.

I'm curious, more now than before, about the difference between the two.

Supercrews do not use the same mirrors as a regular cab or an extended cab.

It is the size of the sail on the door panel. I ordered the **** mirrors when I first got my 01 SCrew, when there was not a footnote on the mirror part number, and they did not cover the same amount of area on the door.

The sail part ( if that is the correct name, or common name ) is the triangle of black plastic on the door frame. The SCrew uses one a bit closer in size to the Expedition, rather then the F-150. Got to love it, the one off mirror on a F-150. I never went to see if **** had some for the Expedition or not, so try that at your own risk.

When I emailed ****, they said there was not a wide enough market to make then just for the SCrew at the time, and it had not changed up until about 20 months ago.

upon further checking, THESE WILL NOT WORK. The bolt pattern doesn't match. So back to the drawing board. I think I am stuck with the slip on extension mirrors.

I use the **** 11600 to tow an 8-1/2 wide hard trailer and they work ok with no vibration.
I would like larger mirror area but!
The law here only allows mirrrors to be 6" wider than the trailer so these are at that limit.
Thery are fast on and off and swing with the truck mirror for close parking.

mirrors between the supercrews and supercabs are exactly the same. my father has the 2001 supercab and i've borrowed his extensions for my 2003 supercrew with the turn signals. the fit like a charm.

To clarify, SLIP ON EXTENSION MIRRORS are the same.
Bolt on extension mirrors can not be found for 2001 screw
