the new guy!
the new guy!
Real new. I just bought my first Domestic automobile, and have to say I am very pleased with the quality of my new 2005 Super Crew. It's an bottom of the line XLT. 4.6, 3.55 non-limited slip, no extra options. But it's just what I wanted! My wife bought if for me as a birthday gift! Don't be jealous folks. She picked it out for me; Bright red with flint cloth. We paid $22K with a sticker price of $31K no trade in either, it took us 3 months of haggling but we feel we got an awesome price.
I joined this forum to get some connections on parts and upgrades. I'm looking for the factory upgraded rims, fender lip trim and mud guards. Anyone know of parts sources for these or anyone selling these as they upgrade?

congrats on the new ride!
2 things... yes an XLT can be stripped down but it's far from bottom-of-the-line. Especially as a Crew.
And your wife sounds like a keeper! How does she feel about superchargers?
