Cool New 05 Screw

Was driving by the dealership and saw a new Screw with the Dark Stone Metallic colour and the lower Arizona Beige accent colour. I thought to myself, Hmm.. that looks exactly like the option on the truck that I factory ordered. I drove to the dealership for a closer look and spoke to a mechanic that was by the truck and asked him if this was a new stock truck that they had received. He stated nope, it was already sold to a customer. I looked at the front of the truck and on a little tag by the rearview mirror was my name... Awesome.. It only took 6 weeks.. The truck looks incredible.... This colour combination is great.. Now for the bad news.... Apparently during shipping the passenger side window had been bumped and had become loose as it was broken.. Grrrrrr... Damm transport carriers... go figure.. It is not their vehicle so who cares.... The dealership however installed a new mirror and I will pretend that this never happened. I stood right there to make sure that nothing went amiss while they did this..
I ordered the 05 Screw LARIAT with the black leather interior fully loaded. I was set on a dark shadow grey or silver FX4 but when I added up all the costs for all the options I wanted, compared to the Lariat model for the difference in price, I decided to get the Lariat as it had all these options and a few that were not availabe in the FX4.

I take possession next tuesday as this is the Easter Long weekend.. I made sure that she is locked up in the service bay this weekend as the service dept is closed and as there are way too many after hour shoppers, may want to have a closer look..
I also made the arrangements at my trusted detail shop on pickup day to do the dealer prep, as they are not going to touch or wash the truck. Yep.. I already negoitated with the dealership that they will pay this portion of the cost for me, although it will be the cheap rate that they get at their shop.. It will be worth every penny to get it done professionally. Yahoo........

The Only problem........................................... ..

I don't know if I can wait until Tuesday

I couldn't wait. I am not that patient. Post some pics after you get her home. A friend of my dad's just got that some color combo on his 05 Lariat. I like it.

Thanks 01GreenCrew and Wandell,

I will post photos as soon as I get her detailed and brought home. I also just received the Moss catalogue... Ford Canada currently has a promotion that ends this month for $1000. worth of free accessories when you purchase a new F150.
My first additions compliments of Ford will be Nerf bars, Bug deflectors, window vents.
Down the road will be a Billet grille, Guage face kit, Low rider Lid. or ARE Lid or maybe a Canopy... For now I can hardly wait to get her home....

Craig, I saw your gallery pic and I am considering the same setup. Wanted to ask a couple of questions but could not email you directly. Are those the Eagle 137? Where did you purchase the setup? You can go to my profile to email directly if you wish . Thanks.

rhino, I could not email you either they are 137's and I bought them locally the Nitto tires were hard to find in the 295/70R17's(they were on national backorder) but found them online from www.customwheel.com
