02 SCrew Billet Grill

Can someone post photos of their SCrew with a billet insert. Does the install require cutting on the 02 MY??

Here's a pic of my Westin bolt over grill. No cutting required. Installation took about 10 minutes.

looks nice wandell. I got a full replacement grill and am a little worried about firing up the dremel.

Hey Wandell,

Did you just remove your badge and bolt the grille over? That's what I did, and I've noticed that in some light you can see the oval where the badge is supposed to attach pretty prominently. It's kinda aggravating

Yeah that's exactly what I did. Yes, you can see the factory eggcrate pattern behind the grill a certain angles. However, with the cut out grills you can see the radiator and core support from certain angles which I'm also not crazy about.
Also, I've been thinking about putting the Ford emblem on the billit overlay. Just this afternoon my son told me "You need to put that blue thing back on my grill". He just turned 4 and is giving me advise on modifications!

LOL wandell,

My 6 year old wants me to get Nitrous because they use it in the hot wheels cartoons.
maybe the kids have a point.

MY father-in-law put the oval back on his Billet and it looks 100x better. Try it. you can take it off if you don't like it.

After I put my Street Scenes grill on my Crew, it looked like something was missing, so I put the emblem back on. I think it looks better. Now I'm thinking about getting the Brushed Steel overlays for the emblems to give it a different look. I got the black overlays on my wife's Expi and I like the way they look.

I prefer the grills from the Harley trucks.

I don't have one, but they are my favorite grill for sure!

I agree with you. After I do some more stuff to mine, I'm going to get a 03 Harley Grill.

01GreenCrew, I checked out your gallery. Your truck is done very nicely. The Street scene grill looks great with the emblem. I hope my billet turns out as nice. I thinkthe understated monochrome them of your truck works well with your current grill.

I bought the silver/chrome decals for my emblem off ebay. I'll be sure to post pictures as soon as it's all done.

Thanks Ratso. It will look much better when I lower it some more and then I'm going to do something up front. Either a Lightning or Harley front end, I haven't made up my mind yet.
