I did a quick search on this, and was unable to locate any information on this question......

Are the Screw tailights interchangable with the flair side lights? The backup lights on the flair side tails are in the middle of the light, and as you are all aware the Screws backups are at the top on the lens. I kinda like the look of the flair's lens, but I've heard rumors that they wont fit on the Screw. One would think that Ford would make them the same to save on cost, but then again...

They are the same.

 

I think what you will find is the reverse light on '01 thru '03 is at the top for both the flare side and the screw, the earlier flare side has the reverse light in the middle.
