Keyless Remote...

Tried the search before I posted, but couldn't find just what I was looking for, so here goes...

I have a 1999 Ford Explorer XLT (the wife's) and a 2002 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Lariat FX4 (mine).

My wife recently lost her keyless remote, so I just programmed one of my extras for her rig.

Here's the problem...now that one remote controls both vehicles simultaneously.

Is there a way to "unprogram" a vehicle from a remote or a way to completely blank a remote and then reprogram it?

Thanx.

Here's the remote in question:

My guess would be you would have to go to a dealership to get the remote(s) cleared out. Everytime I have had it done only costs $5 to $10 to have done (might even be free). Hope that helps.

Naah...you don't have to go to the dealer.

Just reprogram the remaining remotes for the truck into the truck using the procedure in the owners manual. The programming procedure erases the codes for the previously stored remotes (that's why the procedure states to have all remotes at hand before starting).
