New to the site. Hello to all. Always been a Ford fan, but never had any experience with F150s till now.

My wife purchased a new 05 Supercrew 4x4. It all started when I made the mistake of making fun of her 02 Explorer as being a "mini-van", so she went to the dealership and said she wanted the biggest truck they had. I talked her down from a loaded Lariet to a Supercrew. I guess it also stems from the fact she is 4'10" and 95 lbs and likes to feel big on the road and get noticed. She has to about jump to get into the thing.

Her truck (a.k.a. the $31k bite outta my wallet)
2005 F150 Supercrew
5.4 V8
3.73 limited slip axle
Towing package
#7200 cargo capacity
17 inch painted rims

So I joined to find our more about the world of F150s. I am a Jeep man myself, with a 02 lifed Wrangler on 33's.

George

See what happens when you razz the little woman? One night when your wife is sleeping, take the truck out for a good cruise. I think you'll be impressed with the ride and how quiet it is. My '03 Screw amazed me, and I hear that the newer models are even smoother. Even though it is "hers", you can still claim it's yours to the neighbors.

& Congratulations on the new ride. How on earth did you talk her down from the Lariat: you must be a politician
