New Crew

I just (9 days ago) bought a 2001 Supercrew. I love it, but am worried about this recall. I checked the VIN online and it says it is not included. I took it back to the dealership and had them check it and they said it is not included. That doesn't keep a new owner from worrying, especially when I see the pictures of the fires. This is the fourth Ford I have owned: 92-150, 95-150, 94- SHO. I know Ford is a great brand, but I still don't want to be homeless because of a fire.

Your not the only one that was/is a little worried. I just bought mine last monday. I have cbecked the VIN online, called the dealer, and called FoMoCo and all said no.

Good luck with your new Truck.

if you are that worried, replace it for peace of mind.

While you are waiting for the replacement parts, park the truck on the street, well away from the house.
