Question Xenarc harness routing options (?)

OK guys, I finally got my Xenarcs. Now I need help from you "mod" scientists. The instructions say to use the provided clips to attach the harness to the edge of the fan shroud. I don't like the idea. Too close to spinning metal, and I don't want the install to look like it was done by some bonehead with a roll of electrical tape and a bag of zip ties. I still have the factory fan clutch w/shroud. In the future, dual E fans will find there way under the hood.
Has anybody routed their harness in a way that's a bit more stealth, without risking possible damage to it? Any ideas will be considered and greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I had mine across the fan shroud and never had a problem...

I understand your logic but, I don't think there's anything to be worried about (famous last words right?).

I was thinking about routing mine under the plastic radiator trim piece (if that's what it's called) but had a hell of a time trying to get those damn CHITTY screw plug-a-ma-things out cause the unscrewing wasn't doing anything....

I just opted to wrap my harness with some black tape and stripe it w/some yellow electrical tape for that "Hazardous" look

I did it the same exact way on my Screw. It will be 2 years this April since I installed them and no problems at all.

routing

While I'm comforted knowing that Sylvania's designed routing has not caused a known problem, I was hoping for ideas that would look a little better as well.

Why do you have a show truck or something? I think it looks fine on my rig.

I'm not sure what the Xenarc looks like, but for my heavy duty wiring harness I went under the plastic rad cover, and under the upper rad supports. I used some adhesive wire clips to hold it in place. When all put back together you could hardly tell it was there...

Closer is right.

I seem to recall seeing someone at FTW who went this route with their harness for their Xarcs...

Yes. I show it to all the other trucks in the parking lot. They're all jealous.

LOL good one snappy.

Sorry I can't be of more help. I would try the guys at FTW like RP said. Someone over there is bound to be of help.

For what it's worth....

I took the easy option because it was too hot to Eff with that day. I opted to just dress it up and decide to re-route it one day when I had the radiator cover taken off.
