True HID...

I had a set of Xenarcs. Try doing a search for the word 'XENARC' and be prepared to read until your heart is content....

While they're not a set of blue BMW headlights (HID), they are LIGHT YEARS better than stock or any kind of bulb conversion you can buy....

Then again, they're going to cost around $450 and thus, they SHOULD be better...

Trust me though, they are...

I had a set of xenarc's on my 01 KR. They were worth the $450. I couldn't take them for my 05 KR, since they are different lamps.

Hope they come out with a set for the new body style. I'd purchase them again.

I like the pure white light they throw.

Take their advice...

I installed a set of Sylvania Xenarc's in my '03 pickup this Thanksgiving and talk about being a BIG difference. Not only will they light up the road for you, but for the people who are infront of you and beside you. I got my set at a closeout deal (and error on Sylvania's website) for $299 + S&H.

Don't expect wonders out of them in the city though. With the ambient light from street lamps, businesses, and even moonlight, the Xenarc's aren't much brighter than stock lights, they are more whiter though. (i.e. stock lights kinda cheat because everything is pretty much bright already).

The Xenarc lamp assemblies are what really make this kit work well. The Xenarc's project a bright white line across the horizon. (Easily noticed by following the light beam just to the left of the garage door openning.) YES...my garage is messy...don't blame me...

RockPick, what did you do with your Xenarc's when you traded in your truck?

Your best bet may be to get them off of a newer body style Lincoln Navigator. Not sure if anyone has made one of the "install a bulb" type kits. I'm sure someone has, but the performance probably isn't nearly as good as a full blown kit.

Don't think so...from what I've read about HID lights, the DOT is not approving any more "aftermarket" kits due to the high # of complaints being received regarding "glare" from inappropriate aiming/installation/design of aftermarket kits. Only OEM (from the factory) HID lights are being approved at this time. Thus, my suggesting to figure out how to install some Navigator lights in your F150.

Yeah, I agree with you on that one...

I just have this horrible feeling that the Lincoln truck's lights are going to be SILLY expensive and the Navi lights are going to require some serious fabrication...
