I have a 2004 F150 Supercrew- I am experiencing a squeak in the rear window whick Ford cannot diagnose and fix. Has anyone else had this issue?

I had the same thing on the driver side rear window. The squeak was coming from the window moulding. I pushed along the entire moulding around the window and isolated the squeak and put a fine shot of white grease under the moulding. Haven't heard the noise since.

Rr wdo squeak

I also have an 04 Screw and had the rear wdo issue. There is a TSB on in, but I don't know the # of it of hand. THe dealer should know this. Use the search on this forum because I know I have seen it here before when I first posted this problem.
Anyway I just got mine fixed last week after waiting a month for the TSB kit to come into the dealer. Took them a solid day to complete because the whole w/do assembly has to come out. At least its fixed, so squeaks so far.
Keep us posted.

Rear window squeak!

I got the same problem. TSB Exists. Dealer fixed the rear slider once and the squeak was still there. Now they are replacing the entire window assembly today. Hope this works!

Rear Window SQUEEK! SQUEEK!

2004 f150 FX4 Supercrew - 16,000 miles

I have the power-open rear cab window... didn't notice this until about 1000-2000 miles ago...

When the rear window is open, and the truck is moving at any decent speed, even over smooth roads, there is a high pitched non-stop squeeking or chirping noise, seems like its comming from right behind the rear cab window, almost in the box.. Its loud, like a damn supersized cricket, but at a faster chirping rate... it gives me a splitting headache...

When i close the window, "POOF", no more squeek!!

Something in the window?
Or something in the bed-to-frame connection? Are there rubber mounts or bracers in the bed that could do this?

Does anyone notice that thier bed vibrates alot? I have a 2003 F150 for work, and the bed does NOT vibrate like my '04..

Also just had a bedline sprayed in, in which the loosened all the bolts in the bed and then put em back in after sprayin.. looks like they're all tight... dont think this is the "squeek"..

Ideas??

As others have stated there is a rear window TSB. I have a supercab but the window assembly is the same i believe. I took my truck in friday and am waiting on parts for this week. I will try and get the TSB number when i go back. What my service order says reinforced lower track rails. They will be sending it off to a glass and body guy and pulling the entire rear shell out and replacing it.

Full List of TSB's for 2004's?

Does anyone know where to find a full listing of TSB's for '04 F150's ???? Especially for the SCREW? Does one even exist?

I'm assuming Ford doesn't publish a list for the public, as they'd have thousands of customers wanting every single little problem fixed.. or am I incorrect??
