4wd not engaging

Hey guys..I recently got some snow where I live and 4wd was working fine for awhile, but I went out hunting the other day and almost got stuck. I knew it was icy, but I could defintely tell that 4wd was not working. Where do I start? I'm still under warranty and all, but I hate taking it in...they take forever to get my truck back. And plus, I don't want to go back to stock..I have a SuperChip 9100.

In 4 low there is a gear reduction, but it still doesn't work.

Thanks for any help.

Ok...I checked that. It's still plugged in.

I crawled under it and tried to twist the front drive-shaft with it in 2wd...it twists

in 4wd ...it doesn't twist.

It makes all the normal clicks when I put it into 4wd hi and low, just no worky..

Could I have broken those auto-hubs or something?

4 wheel drive

take the plastic cover off the axle and have someone engage the 4 wheel drive while you watch the actuator move. mine would star to move .125 and then stop. had to remove actuator and clean it then it worked fine. if you don't use 4 wheel drive on a regular basis it freeze's up.

Thanks Hammerhead..I'll give it a shot. I do use it quite often, but we'll see.
